Born and raised in Garden City, New York, Craig graduated from Colgate University, where he set aside aspirations of becoming a lawyer and decided to pursue a career in the media. He took a job as a writer for pro wresting magazines thinking it would be a placeholder till something better came along. It lasted 15 years.
In the mid-‘90s, knowing that publishing was moving from paper to pixels, Craig ran away and joined the circus—literally. He spent nearly a decade managing online content and marketing for Feld Entertainment, owners of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey and producers of Disney On Ice (and a bunch of other stuff). He helped develop the first version of Ringling.com, which won an A+ from Entertainment Weekly.
In 2004, Craig founded CKPcreative, delivering online marketing and editorial expertise to clients across a wide rage of subject areas including live entertainment, film, global finance, veterans issues, and cancer patients and caretakers. He’s served as a board member of the Cancer Support Community of Greater Philadelphia (formerly Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley) since 2012 and is a strong supporter of and advocate for the Semper Fi Fund, one of the highest-rated veteran nonprofits in the country.
Craig and his family moved to landlocked Pennsylvania in 1993. He lives in Horsham and doesn’t miss Long Island’s traffic or high taxes, but he does miss the beaches.
