Tenara Calem is a playwright/performer/creator/educator living in Philadelphia. She has had the pleasure of working with a number of theaters across the country in several different capacities, including Columbus Civic Theater, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Target Margin Theater Company, Trinity Repertory Company, Horizon Theatre Company, and Pig Iron Theatre Company. Israeli-born, Ohio-raised, Tenara's written work includes Aviva in October, FAIRY TALE, The Willow, Summer of Date Palms, and Getting Gone. Tenara's acting work has also taken her abroad to Dresden, Germany with Theater Junge Generation. She is a 2015 grad from Bennington College, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in drama/politics.
